About the Boone County Genealogical Society:

The BCGS was formed  in July 2000 to bring together individuals having a common interest in genealogy. Persons living in Boone County as well as those having roots in the county comprise the membership. We are a non-profit organization devoted to promoting, encouraging, and assisting others in genealogical research and cemetery preservation in Boone County and surrounding areas. This chapter takes an active part in the collection of records and helps make them available for public use.

Meetings

Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday each month at the Family History Center. Be sure to check the events calendar for details about our next meeting!
